Our aim is to send our Bengal kittens to their new homes free from disease. Therefore, we take several steps to produce healthy bengal kittens.

We are the only proven Feline Coronavirus free Bengal cat breeder in the UK. We have worked in very close collaboration with our veterinary practice, following the guidance of Dr Addie at The University of Glasgow, to completely eliminate Feline Coronavirus from our breeding establishment...
Coronavirus is a very common disease in cats that will mutate into an often deadly illness in 10 to 15% of cats that carry it. Although there is now treatment available, FIP is still the biggest killer of cats under two years of age. Treatment costs thousands of pounds and takes a minimum of 90 days. Angeldust Bengal Breeders believe that prevention is better than cure, and are proud to declare ourselves entirely coronavirus free, ensuring that your Bengal kitten leaves us clear of this disease.

We DNA test all our breeding cats for 50 genetic diseases, including Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKdef), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRAb), Progressive Retinal Atrophy rdAc, and Polycystic kidney disease (PKD variant 1) ensuring that our Bengal kittens will not suffer from any of these genetic conditions.

All our breeding Bengal cats are scanned annually for Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). HCM is a condition that causes the muscular walls of a cat's heart to thicken , decreasing the heart's efficiency. It is the most commonly diagnosed cardiac disease in cats and there are thought to be many causes. However, by annual screening, we hope to remove any Bengal cats from our breeding programme where genetics may play a role.

Welfare and ethics are the cornerstone of what we do at Angeldust Bengal Breeders. We are a cageless cattery, so our Bengal cats receive constant human interaction, personal care, lots of love, and live within the heart of our family. Their happiness is paramount and we feel honoured to share our home with such magnificent cats. This sets us apart from most Bengal catteries, whose Bengals cats are penned and do live outside. Our set up means we have remained a small breeding programme, despite our success, but we firmly believe that our excellent practices are evidenced in the loving and affectionate natures of the Bengal kittens we produce for sale.

This means that they can successfully and smoothly integrate into your home and family, living in harmony with children, adults, and other pets. We also adhere to the TICA Outstanding Cattery Code of Ethics and nothing is more important to us than the health, and physical and emotional welfare of our Bengal cats and kittens. We hold a 5 star council license from Stockport Council demonstrating our achievement of the highest possible standard.

Microchipped

All Bengal kittens leave us microchipped, with the microchip logged with the Smarttrace database, making it simple for you to comply with the legislation that now makes it compulsory to microchip your cat

Health Screening

We carry out a wide range of health testing so as to do everything in our power to ensure that you have a healthy Bengal kitten. This includes DNA testing for 50 different genetic diseases, including; Pkdef, PRAb, PRA rdAc and PKD, annual HCM Scans eye screening and a plethora of other tests

Cage Free

We are a completely cageless Bengal breeder. Of course, males, pregnant queens and mothers with kittens need to be seperated, but we choose to do this within our home, surrounded by our family and constant human interaction, personal care and lots of love. Their happiness is paramount, and we feel honoured to share our home with these magnificent Bengal cats

Fully Vaccinated

All Bengal kittens leave us fully vaccinated against Feline Calicivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (Herpes virus), Feline Panleucopaenia and Feline Leukemia, and will receive both doses of their primary vaccination course. Your kitten will not require any further vaccinations until the booster vaccine in a years time

Neutered Kitten

As responsible Bengal cat breeders, all of our kittens leave us already neutered. This removes all stress and hassle from you as you will not have to organise this yourself. It means that we can deal with any complications that arise, thus saving you the worry

Feline Coronavirus-Free

We are the UK's only proven Feline Coronavirus-free Bengal breeder. Feline Coronavirus is a common viral infection in cats. However, in 10% to 15% of cats, this virus mutates into FIP, a life threatening condition. Treatment costs many thousands of pounds and is not always successful. We have chosen to ensure that no kitten leaves us carrying Feline Coronavirus as prevention is better than cure

We offer support to all our customers for the entire lifetime of their Bengal kitten.
